learning to love your body for many today, has turned out to be an unsatisfactory task. We tend to be more "critical" instead of "loving" about our bodies; coupled with the media and advertising agencies all scream at us what their ideal kind of body is suppose to look like!

But there is one truth a lot of people are failing to realize here; " we were all created differently and UNIQUELY".

The journey to a positive body image, starts from within, and nobody says it must be conquered in a single day or that you have to resort to some hazardous or outrageous enhancing procedures  ( which arent so enhancing in the long run by the way ).

If you must change the way you see youself/body image, then you must be determined to take the time to increase body positivity in healthy ways

When you begin to love what you were given regardless of what the media is preaching about what the perfect body type is suppose to be like, the rest of the world like magic falls in love with you.

The rule here, is to treat yourself the same way you would want others to treat you with regard.

Am not talking about self inflated ego ( only insecure people do that ).

What am talking about is having/exhibiting a heathy self respect for your self because whether you like it or not, people are going to start emulating your heathy standards. Many would want to change for good and this happens so subtly, you may not even realize the positive effect of your actions on the lives of others; this is how brands where created.

Remember, this isn't pride or ego, simply treat yourself nicely, and the world will simply mirror it back to you nicely.


2. DO NOT BUY INTO THE CERTAIN - PANT - SIZE - FITS ALL BS.

One of the ways to shift your mind from the society’s craze for “one-size fits all” beauty standards, is to realize that every shape and size is beautiful.

The Creator knows this, and a lot of people are beginning to realize this about themselves too. One size does not fit all, you were created uniquely for specific reasons, and more you appreciate yourself more it will become evident to you.


3. STOP WORRING ABOUT WHAT YOU WEIGH.

Let’s face it, even while we still practice self love its still easily tempting to slide back to looking at the scale to guage how we weigh. This is counter productive and not healthy.

Try to stop looking at the scale on a too regular basis; or you could simply dispose off every form of weight reader or guage around.


4. MAKE POSITIVE DECLARATIONS IN THE MIRROR.

It might sound or look crazy, but this is one of the simple yet highly effective way you can bring about the desired change you want in your body.

Begin to train your self to speak positively when  you are before the mirror every morning. You can start with small affirmations and soon enough, you  will begin seeing result.


5. DIETING SHOULDN'T BE A SPRINT

Most online images we so much adore, where heavily photoshopped; now am not saying some of this media personalities aren't beautiful, but the bottom line is to love yourself totally as you are, and compare your self to no one.

It could be an appointment at the spa, or trying out a new desert or a cup of yogurt, ( watch out for indulging ! ) a pair of shoes, a wrist watch, a new dress, you name it. The keyword here is - self love.
